Restricted Key Systems
Restricted Key Systems are available to be fitted into a large range of locks. The system is made by replacing the lock cylinder with a new cylinder that is compatible with the particular restricted key system.
Keys for a restricted key system are a security key that only an authorised person can get a duplicate of. This eliminates the illegal duplication of the key by key cutters, other locksmiths and hardware shops, etc.
Restricted key systems can make the lock which it is installed into very hard to pick. Many standard locks dont provide a very high level of pick resistance.
